About Graham Howes:

I have been an actor for over 30 years in all parts of "the business". I have also run a Theatre Company called Edge of the World Theatre Productions which toured a no 1 Theatre tour around the UK and toured to Art Centres & smaller theatres.

I have often been cast as such authority figures (either heavy or humorous) as the title role in The Mayor of Casterbridge, , Bumble in Oliver, Daddy Warbucks in Annie, Senator Robert E Lyons in Of thee I sing and Let 'em eat Cake for Opera North, Mr Eichelberger in Promises Promises, Mr Scheinkopf in Fame, Sir John Scarlett in the Panorama trilogy on the Gulf War BBC, Claudius in Hamlet, Toby Belch in Twelfth Night, Canon Chausable in The Importance of being Earnest.

I have also played such outsiders as: Dr Frankenstein and Walton the explorer in Frankenstein, The Cook in Mother Courage, John Clare the mad poet in A Desert of Eden, i was a Clown Mr Fitz for several years, the psychotic clown Popsi Cola in Frazer Grace's piece for an actor in a shower cubicle..

I have been in a number of musicals - I am properly a bass baritone - down to bottom D!
